Experienced poets and dabblers alike shouldn't miss out on the Writing Poetry Bundle. With this bundle, you can save 87% on our favorite resources for poets, including 365 prompts, a guide on poetic forms, and wisdom from published poets Lisa Kwong, Sandra Beasley, Joe Mills, and Vince Gotera. This bundle compiles four OnDemand webinars from the WDU Poetry Virtual Conference, as well as two digital guides from Writer’s Digest Senior Editor and Poetic Asides columnist, Robert Lee Brewer. Get inspired with the Writing Poetry Bundle today!

The Complete Guide of Poetic Forms: 100+ Poetic Form Definitions and Examples for Poets (Digital Guide): Poetic forms are the backbone of a poet's writing. They are the building blocks for length, rhyme scheme, subject matter, and so much more. In The Complete Guide of Poetic Forms, Writer's Digest's resident poetry expert and former poet laureate of the blogosphere Robert Lee Brewer showcases more than 100 poetic forms to serve as both an informative resource and inspiration for new writing. Featuring information about their origins and histories, this guide also breaks down the nuances of each form: from number of syllables and type of stanza, to rhyme scheme and similarities or differences between related forms. To aid in your understanding, Brewer shares a sample poem of his own for each form included. ($19.99 value)

Poem-a-Day: 365 Poetry Writing Prompts for a Year of Poeming (Digital Guide): Do you want to write more poetry but find yourself struggling to get started? Maybe you’ve hit a rut and are tired of writing about the same old thing every time. Maybe you’ve been afraid to try your hand at poetry at all because the forms are too challenging or the topics are too serious. With Poem-a-Day: 365 Poetry Writing Prompts for a Year of Poeming from Writer’s Digest Senior Editor and Poetic Asides columnist Robert Lee Brewer, you’ll have a springboard of creativity for an entire year. And, you’ll find prompts for every type of poetic personality from serious to silly, inspiring to cathartic. ($9.99 value)

Writing Poems That Are Interesting and Accessible (OnDemand Webinar): Sometimes when we go to “write a poem,” we try to be “poetic.” As a result, our work can end up sounding stilted, obscure, odd, off-putting. In contrast, when we go to write about people, and we concentrate on portraying actions, emotions, and characters honestly, our work can end up being gratifyingly accessible. A poem can render the ordinary extraordinary, and it does so not necessarily through “poetic language,” but through the process of paying close attention. ($79.99 value)

An Appetite for the Page (OnDemand Webinar): "First we eat, then we do everything else,” wrote M.F.K. Fisher. A poem revolves around a taste of apple; an essay spans a lunch; a bestseller shows salt driving cultural change. We’ll discuss food writing’s pitfalls and opportunities—with consideration of economic and ethnic identity—while looking at canonical and contemporary models. This OnDemand Webinar includes drafting strategies, a generative prompt, and tips for placing your work. ($79.99 value)

Writing Poetry in Response to Current Events (OnDemand Webinar): Writing may not be able to stop a bullet, but it can help us to survive. In this OnDemand webinar, Lisa Kwong reflects on the role of poetry as a response to current events and why people turn to it as a way to process and cope. Considering examples that address events including, but not limited to, the Virginia Tech massacre, the swine flu and COVID-19 pandemics, and last year’s Atlanta spa shootings, Kwong demonstrates that poetry can be a powerful source of comfort for our communities.

Writing in Short Forms (OnDemand Webinar): This presentation covers two short forms: the hay(na)ku and the curtal sonnet ("curtal" is an archaic word for short!). Poet, editor, and teacher Vince Gotera presents the history of the two forms, one unrhymed and the other rhymed, shows some examples, and then discusses how to write in these forms. ($79.99 value)

Must have @ Puppy Yoga Club
I purchased the Aipper Dog Toys 25 Pack for use with puppies at my job, and it’s been a really practical and affordable option for a high-energy, group setting. The variety in the pack is the biggest benefit. With a mix of squeaky toys, ropes, balls, and plush toys, it’s easy to rotate items throughout the day and keep multiple puppies engaged at once. The squeaky toys grab attention quickly, while the rope toys are great for interactive play and light tug games. For a work environment with frequent use, the value is excellent. Having so many toys in one set makes it easy to replace or swap out toys as they get worn down, which is helpful when working with multiple puppies at the same time. Durability is average for the price—some of the softer plush toys don’t hold up to rough play for long—but the rope toys tend to last better. Overall, they work best in supervised settings rather than for heavy chewers. Overall, this set is a great, budget-friendly solution for keeping puppies entertained and engaged in a group setting.

Great variety for the price
Great set of toys. As described, they are for smaller dogs but I got them for our puppy and they are a great size for her. She will definitely outgrow them if she doesn’t destroy them first. She sure likes them for now!

Tiny Toys for Puppies. Not for large dogs.
These are cute little toys, definitely puppy size toys. I don’t expect them to last long as they don’t seem durable for vigorous chewers, but they will be a good distraction for the puppy. He loves the squeaker. I’m only giving 3 stars because I’m very itchy after opening the toys, I seem to be having a reaction to the material. I have never been diagnosed with any sort of allergies.

TOO CUTE
THESE WERE THE CUTEST PACK OF TOYS MY PUPPY ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM. A big variety of different chew toys, different textures. The rubber toys have better to resistance than I originally thought they would. My dog is a small puppy so I don’t know how much damage he could have really done anyway, but we have had them now for several weeks.
