Is this a genuine original part?
This is a premium quality aftermarket fluid manufactured in the UK by Westway Oils, designed to meet or exceed original Ford (OE) M2C-33F performance standards.
How do I know if it is compatible?
Check your vehicle owner's manual or transmission dipstick. If it specifies "Type F" or "M2C-33F", this fluid is the correct choice. Do not use if your system requires Dexron or Mercon fluids.
Can I use this in place of Dexron III?
No. Type F is a non-friction modified fluid. Using it in a transmission designed for Dexron (which contains friction modifiers) will cause harsh shifting and potential internal damage. Conversely, using Dexron in a Type F box will lead to clutch slippage.
