RG6 Outdoor Dual Shield Direct Burial Coaxial Cable, 18 AWG CCS, CM, 60% AL Wire Braid, AL Foil Shield
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is commonly used for wiring satellite, digital CATV and HDTV television networking since it requires higher level of shielding for signal retention. The RG6 coax cable has a denser jacketing and thicker conductor then RG59, so it can transfer data at double the speed. We supply RG6 dual shield and quad shield cable to maximize signal retention for even sharper, clearer digital pictures. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 Ohms and sweep tested at 3GHz.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals.

Our high quality RG6 CATV Dual Shield Direct Burial Coaxial Cable consists of an 18 AWG solid Copper Clad Steel (CCS) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in a dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 coaxial cable comes with 60% aluminum wire braided shield. This is covered with a flame rated PE jacket (CM).

Our RG6 Direct Burial Coaxial Cable is made for outdoor Cable Television (CATV), audio/video networking applications, digital HDTV applications, CATV, outdoor and direct burial TV antennas, and digital satellite installations. The cable's jacket is designated CL2 for outdoor coaxial cable used for networking projects like outdoor CCTV systems require cable with adequate jacketing and insulation to handle moisture and sun exposure. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 ohms and does not keep a high Gigahertz.
