Syngonium podophyllum variegataAn aroid native to parts of South America. It can develop lobed leaves if allowed to be trained up a moss pole. This plant can be a little particular when it comes to its light and humidity needs. Some light browning on the white parts of their leaves may occur if they don't get the ideal humidity conditions. Care: These will be happy in a bright filtered light. They will like to go about 1 2" dry on the top of the soil before needing water. This

This plant will typically be a little more active in the winter and have a summer domancy period

A warm humid environment can help this plant reach maturity faster

use a semi coarse soil medium

and once every 3-4 weeks in the winter

and once the flies stick to them they'll get stuck

These form a caudex and or a swelled up trunk near the base

They are currently in 2" pots

They prefer to be root bound and not in big massive pots

these "Snake Plants" make for incredibly hardy species given that they can withstand a wide variety of environments
