The Crescent Golden Lovebird Abstract Wood Sculpture at 110cm is a wide fan-form crescent in pale golden wood with finely incised radiating ray lines fanning from a small central notch, accompanied by two polished gold lovebird figurines perched on the top edge. At 110cm wide, the crescent fans outward in a low half-circle silhouette, the carved rays radiating like a sunburst across the surface, while the two miniature lovebirds bring a small narrative moment to the composition. The piece sits on a black plinth that anchors the warm golden wood. Each crescent is hand-carved individually, with the lovebirds cast and gilded separately.
A Sunburst With Two Birds
The crescent is hand-carved from a single piece of solid wood by our artisans, with every fine ray cut and sanded so the surface reads as a combed sunburst. The piece is finished in pale golden tones that bring out the warm grain. The two lovebirds are cast and polished in gold and positioned along the crescent's top edge to add the narrative grace note.
