And when I remembered the ship he secretly built behind all of Fontaine's back, I knew — it was a sign for me to cross his canonical look with the 'Pirate legend' of Fontaine's secret rescue ship. I couldn't help myself and portrayed him as that very Captain, ready to save everyone from disaster and strike you down with a single glance. The pirate look gives him a touch of flawlessness, a dash of daring, and undeniable striking appeal.
